I joined Diamond Fitness in November of 2014 for 90 sessions.  Into my 3rd week, I knew I wanted more so I joined for a full year.  In 3 months, I’ve lost inches, have toned up and have my energy back!!

I’ve been active all my life doing a variety of activities but for the past 2 years found that I was struggling and could not get myself motivated.  I was simply tired of the gym scene and lost interest in going – plus it was too easy to make excuses not to go.  I needed a change in my life, something to challenge me and someone to help get me motivated again.

After I turned 50 (yes 50 – gulp), I turned to a personal trainer.  Not knowing any of them in my area, I checked the internet and came across Diamond Fitness.  I liked the website and found it to be very informative and seemed exactly what I was looking for.

I went to meet the trainer, Tom McAleese – he’s in amazing shape and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness!  The facility is very clean with lots of equipment.

Joining Diamond Fitness was one of the best choices I have ever made.  Tom makes you feel very comfortable and motivates, motivates, motivates!  I’m doing things now that I never thought I would be able to do!  What I love is that Tom explains each exercise, why you are doing it and what muscles you’re using to get the end result that you want.  I initially only wanted to slim down/tone up but have fallen in love with the weight training and cant’ get enough of it!  Tom has your whole workout for the week prepared (taking all the guess work out of it – unlike the gym).  And when you start seeing the results for yourself …… you just want more!

We all seem to have very busy schedules at work these days – me too!  Tom is very flexible in letting you (actually wanting you) to make up a session if one has to be missed that week.

The best part is, Tom takes the time to make sure you are doing each exercise correctly but he doesn’t just stand there and watch you – he works out right beside you!

Thanks so much, Tom, for all you’ve done so far – and for all the “high fives”.  See you tonight!!!
